Successful third edition of Stone Expo

Stone Expo drew an impressive 7056 professional visitors. A striking aspect here was a distinct increase in the number of foreign visitors, primarily from the Netherlands (12% of the total) but also from France, Italy and Germany. Initial responses from the exhibitors and visitors already indicate that it met with a very positive reception. In addition to the quality of the visitors, which was highly appreciated, the increased size of the fair (with ten per cent more floor area) made this edition a success. More than ever before, Stone Expo is poised to become the predominant Benelux trade fair in this sector. Several participants have already confirmed their interest in the 2012 edition. The growth prospects are better than ever before, especially in the natural stone area. In addition, the Stone Expo organisers intend to do everything possible to make the 2012 edition an ideal platform for the gravestone and grave monuments segment, which was not represented at the latest edition.

The next edition of Stone Expo is planned for 21–23 January 2012.

Stone Expo is the Benelux trade fair for natural stone, ceramics and quartz composites. Visitors include professionals and decision-makers from the project market, building contractors and builders' suppliers.

Stone Expo has developed into the leading trade fair for the tile and stone industry in the Benelux. Architects, installers and merchants visit the fair.
